Let Gravity do the Basting

I get odd looks from those I share this knowledge. Turn the turkey upside down! Think about it. The dark meat is on the bottom and tends to be juicy and filled with oils from the turkey. So if you turn it upside down, gravity does the basting for you. I’d maybe check on your turkey and bast it towards the end to be on the safe side but in the past we’ve been blessed with a turkey that is deliciously moist.

Now if only I really liked turkey?
