Delicious recipe I grabbed from McCormick. This was my first attempt with Tilapia and I was not close to being disappointed. It was fantastic. Also, I don’t normally cook fish that I end up eating so cooking this myself was a new experience (I have said I’m not even close to being a fantastic cook). This was very simple and so quick!
Tip: Fish is done when it flakes easily when touched with a fork.
Makes 4 servings.

Cook Time: 10 minutes
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, softened
1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning (basil, oregano, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, rosemary, black pepper, red pepper flakes, can be left out)
1/2 teaspoon Mustard, Ground
1 pound tilapia fillets
1/2 teaspoon salt (we tend to leave out salt)
1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper, Ground
1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Mix butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and ground mustard in medium bowl until well blended.
2. Place fish on foil-lined shallow baking pan. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Spread fish with herb butter mixture.
3. Bake 10 minutes or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
Note: Try recipe with red snapper, striped bass, flounder or sole. If desired, substitute 1/4 teaspoon each Basil Leaves and Thyme Leaves for the Italian Seasoning.
